About REEL

REEL Foundation is a registered community based Non-Profit Organisation that seeks to promote equitable access to quality learning for children from low income/undeserved communities.

Our goal is to ensure that children irrespective of their socio-economic background have access to quality learning privileges that will enhance their knowledge and skills and put them at par with their peers globally.

Quality education and learning at various stages is an investment in human capital-a pivotal tool for economic development and growth. 👌🏼

Since 2014

Education has been envisioned as the great equalizer, able to mitigate the effects of poverty on children by equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to lead successful and productive lives. Unfortunately lack of equity in the Nigerian Education system almost makes it certain that some children will receive poor quality education by reason of their parents’ socio-economic status and may therefore lead less successful lives than some of their counterparts.

Our Mission

We Our Mission is to establish learning hubs for children in underserved communities; that will improve their literacy skills via reading, games and access to information technology.

Our Vision

We envision a society where all children irrespective of economic status or class have equal learning opportunities and develop skills that will make them globally relevant.

What We Offer

Establish a Community Hub

Our Flagship project is the establishment of Community E- learning hubs. By establishing community E- learning hubs, REEL aims to:

Increase access to quality learning resources for children living in these communities.

Simulate learning experiences similar to what children in more privileged communities/socio-economic backgrounds enjoy.

Provide learning platforms for children within low-socio economic groups to enhance their education, knowledge and skills.

We believe in collaboration as such our expansion drive is hinged on effective  partnership with individuals, Community Based Organisations(CBOs), schools etc. who are passionate about quality learning in their communities and have the capacity to establish and operate a Community E-Learning Hub.

Using our learnings and experience with our pilot hub, Agbado E-Learning Hub, we have created a model that can be easily replicated in other communities in Nigeria similar to Agbado.

Implementation of Community Education Development Projects/Programmes

We partner with communities of interest to implement small scale projects and programmes that enhance learning and development for children in the community. Some of such include:

Annual REEL Community Spelling Bee and Games Tournament in Agbado

Implementation of Inter school Quiz competition and Spelling Bee for Primary School Pupils in Agbado Community hosted by The New Revelation Baptist Children School , Agbado

Training & Capacity development workshop for National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) Members in collaboration with Young African Leaders Initiative(YALI) Fellows

Scholarship management for selected beneficiaries at Agbado E-Learning Hub

Collaboration in the Implementation of Quiz and debate competition for junior and senior secondary school students within and around a LGA in Abia State.

CSR Project Implementation

To ensure sustainability as an NGO, we do education consulting and project management for organisations that are looking for competent and passionate hands to handle their CSR activities in the Education sector

When a company engages the services of REEL Foundation for project management, in addition to realizing its CSR goals , the company is also indirectly impacting the lives of the many children who benefit from the use of our community E-learning hubs
